Summer Conference & Workshop: May 16 - 17
May 16 - Conference: This year's theme, "Using Problem-Based, Integrative Learning to Support Student Engagement and Critical Thinking," highlights the value of drawing on interdisciplinary perspectives throughout the learning process. Registration is free with lunch and refreshments provided, however, enrollment is limited to 150. Learn More > >
May 17 - Workshop: Led by conference keynote speaker, Dr. Bernhardt, this year's workshop will provide opportunities to consider the uses of problem-based and integrative learning to support critical thinking. Registration is free but enrollment is limited to 40. Participants should be course instructors. Learn More > >
2012 Summer Retreat on Theory & Practice of Teaching
May 21 - 24: This year's retreat will bring instructors together with some of the University's most effective and distinguished faculty. Presentations and workshops will consider issues ranging from innovative course design to integrating critical thinking activities/assignments into coursework to effective classroom practices.
