Whether you have a "U" now, (what's a "U"?) or you want to make the Dean's List, this event is for you! Come to U-Turn to get a personalized plan that will connect you with the academic resources you need to turn this semester into a success!

For one day, all of the people at CSU you need to talk with will be in one room. No being sent all over campus--over 45 campus representatives will be there to talk with you about:

  • Course Tutoring
  • Writing Assistance
  • Building Study Skills (Time Management, Critical Reading, Presentation Skills, Active Learning, Learning Styles, and more!)
  • Test Taking and Test Anxiety
  • Financial services
  • The CSU Health Network
  • Resources for Disabled Students
  • Career choices
  • Major advising
  • Student life
  • Campus involvement

If You Plan on Coming, Here's What to Expect:

Your first stop will be TILT, room 105. A campus representative will provide you with a brief academic assessment that should take about 5 minutes to complete. After reviewing your assessment, you will directed to those campus resource booths—set up in the Russell George Great Hall—that you are most likely to find beneficial.

Visit these booths! Discuss your specific goals and needs with individuals qualified to help. You will receive tips on academic success, campus resources, and upcoming events that might be useful to you throughout the semester. You may even make appointments for help in the future. In any event, U-Turn will be uniquely suited to YOUR needs, and you'll leave with a plan on action for tackling the rest of your semester!
