PDI offers CSU faculty members, state classified personnel, administrative professionals, and graduate students an opportunity to explore a wide range of topics designed to enhance their professional growth and personal enrichment.
It's purpose is to provide an opportunity to share ideas, explore issues, and gain insights into learning, teaching, and service, as well as other professional and personal activities.
Sometimes the daily tasks at hand mount in such a way that long-term goals seem hard to imagine. It's easy to forget that achieving smaller goals along the way are critically important steps on the road to success and happiness.
Viewing our larger goals from a different perspective—reimagining them one step at a time— through the completion of smaller ones, we might just find the unimaginable or impossible not so daunting and certainly within reach.
If you are a topic expert who has important information to share with co-workers, or you have an idea for a session that you would enjoy sharing, or you have given a presentation as part of a team that would bring interesting discussion and enlightenment to our CSU campus, we invite you to submit a session proposal.
The success of PDI relies on you—and other campus community members—sharing your time and experience. Whatever your expertise or passion might be, we ask that you consider submitting a proposal that you and or your team can deliver during the 2015 Professional Development Institute.
Proposals will be accepted through October 20, 2014. We ask that you honor this deadline so we have time to carefully prepare the schedule and coordinate the necessary resources.
Please use the online Proposal Submission Form for your 2015 PDI submission.
You will receive an automated email response shortly after submitting. If you do not receive this response, or have any questions, please contact Sally Hibbitt.
Registration will open in early December. Please check your email inbox for an announcement or visit this page at that time.
