Teaching and Learning Task Forces

Task Forces help identify and provide guidance on how the Institute should address key issues related to teaching and learning. For example, the Advising Task Force, which will be convened in Fall 2007, will be charged with identifying resources that the Institute should provide to support advising at the University. Similarly, the Graduate Student and GTA Professional Development Task Force, which completed its work in Spring 2007, provided guidance on how the Institute might best support the professional development of graduate students who have interests in teaching. The Task Forces are designed so that their work does not overlap with work by policy-making organizations such as the Faculty Council.

Reports are available from the following Task Forces:

Additional Task Forces are being established for Advising, Technological Literacy, Use of Institutional Assessment Data to Identify Best Teaching Practices, and Academic Integrity.
