Description:
Here at CSU we offer a large range of enterprise video conferencing solutions. The quality of our video conferencing equipment is excellent. We use state of the art technology to provide the highest quality video over IP address for a range of different business situational needs. Mobile faculty and staff have the option of staying in touch with main campus and their students while on the move via various videoconferencing solutions. We also have telepresence solutions which are suitable for a board room or an executive meeting. This provides full HD video, a turnkey event, and a green alternative to travel. Our videoconferencing systems are also used for critical procedures such as medical diagnosis and check-ups via telemedicine. Our Veterinary Teaching Hospital feels that the picture quality is so detailed that it allows them to perform training and diagnosis online using the telemedicine method. Colorado State uses the internet (IP) to link the hardware across the web. We then have our own sophisticated video conferencing scheduling software that enables a user to manage and set up single and multi point video calls with as little as one phone call!
Goals and Target Audience:
Faculty, staff and students interested in using the videoconferencing infrastructure on campus.
