After nearly 20 years of service, CSU’s Nortel telephone switch is now end of life, and Telecom has begun implementing a new phone system. This session will provide an introduction to this next generation of phone service including Unified Messaging, Unified Communications, Voice over IP (VoIP) and how this new system will change how the way you work.
Goals and Target Audience:
The goals of this session are: to give an overview of the new SipXecs Unified Communications System. Those who attend will learn how Unified Messaging, Unified Communications, VoIP and other terms you may have heard will change the way you communicate. Target Audience: This session is designed for IT professionals and all faculty and staff interested in learning about the new system.
