Have you ever thought about commuting by bike to CSU? Explore safer routes to bike; discuss ways to make bike commuting work at least one day per week; discuss basic equipment; explore roadblocks and possible solutions to bike commuting; Help with logistics and timing - can save money and diminish pollution while getting exercise.
Goals and Target Audience:
To empower and enable more CSU employees to commute via bike or walking. Target audience includes all campus employees that live within 4-5 miles of campus.

Description:
Colorado State University has made an ambitious goal to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions of the university to zero by the year 2050. This sessions will provide an update on the strategies in place to achieve that goal and the progress made to date. Remember that the university's footprint is really made up of individual contributions from all of us so we will discuss specific measures that we can embrace in order to reduce our impact. The focus will be on the devices we have control over that have the biggest impact on reducing our footprint.
Goals and Target Audience:
Faculty, Staff & Students should all be interested in how their work here at the university impacts the environment. The goal is to keep the university community informed on progress toward reducing GHG emissions.

Description:
A hands-on workshop format will be used to work through estimates of personal energy & resource usage. Examples of questions to be addressed include the impact of driving slower, turning off your desktop computer at night, eating less red meat, recycling paper, etc. Participants should bring a laptop or web savvy phone.
Goals and Target Audience:
Developing the tools needed to make data-informed personal decisions as well incorporation of data in instructional material. The targeted audience includes faculty, staff, and students.
