Description:
Discovery tools allow library users to search across library collections and databases from a single access point. CSU Libraries is implementing a Discovery Tool called Primo that will potentially change the way different users interact with library resources, responding to the divergent research needs of undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and staff. This session aims to introduce Primo, highlight its research functionality, explore its strengths and limitations, and prepare library users to get the most out of this tool.
Goals and Target Audience:
This session is intended for faculty, staff, and students. Attendees will have the opportunity explore Primo during the session. Attendees will leave with an understanding of Primo and its strength and limitations.

Want free e-books? How about free online music and movies? All that and more is available from the Poudre River Public Library District - and now, your CSU RamCard can also serve as a PRPLD library card! In this session we'll provide information on the partnership between CSU and PRPLD, and we'll show you how to enable your RamCard to work at the public library. A representative from PRPLD will be on hand to show you how to find e-books, music, movies and more for easy download to your e-reader, iPod, laptop, or other device.
Goals and Target Audience:
CSU faculty, staff and students who want to use their RamCard to access Poudre River Public Library District services.
