Discovery tools allow library users to search across library collections and databases from a single access point. CSU Libraries is implementing a Discovery Tool called Primo that will potentially change the way different users interact with library resources, responding to the divergent research needs of undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and staff. This session aims to introduce Primo, highlight its research functionality, explore its strengths and limitations, and prepare library users to get the most out of this tool.
Goals and Target Audience:
This session is intended for faculty, staff, and students. Attendees will have the opportunity explore Primo during the session. Attendees will leave with an understanding of Primo and its strength and limitations.
