Working Together for Education Abroad: How Education Abroad Coordinators Can Collaborate with Academic Success Coordinators and Advisors in the Education Abroad Process

This session will focus on practical resources for advising undergraduate students in education abroad opportunities. We will discuss CSU trends in education abroad, student success outcomes, as well as matters relating to financing education abroad and transferring credits. Additionally, the session will outline how education abroad coordinators and ASCs/advisors can work collaboratively in the process of sending students abroad.
Goals and Target Audience:
Target audience is ASCs and advisors on campus.
1. Familiarize ASCs/advisors with the current trends and resources relating to CSU education abroad.
2. Increase understanding of the role of ASCs/Advisors in the education abroad process.
3. Develop strategies for education abroad coordinators and ASCs/advisors to collaborate more effectively.
