Description:
A review of various leave and benefit programs available to Academic Faculty / Administrative Professionals (AF/AP) and State Classified staff. This will include sick and annual leave, Family Medical Leave, Short and Long Term Disability and Parental Leave.
Goals and Target Audience:
After attending the PDI, employees should be able to identify employee leave and benefit programs available to both AF/AP and State Classified employees, as well as understand how the various leaves coordinate with each other.

Description:
Employee Self-Service is a web-based service that provides all current employees with information related to their employment. The ability to directly view your payroll data provides an excellent opportunity for you to ensure that the information is correct and kept up to date. The data provided to you includes pay slips, W-2 information and W-4 withholding elections as well as telephone, address and direct deposit information. Join this session to learn the ins and outs of your Employee Self-Service portal and how to correct and/or update your personal information.
Goals and Target Audience:
Recent changes made to the Employee Self-Service portal has created some unique challenges for employees. Payroll would like to offer step by step guidance for entering direct deposit information and W-4 updates as well as tips on viewing pay slips and W-2 documents.

Description:
This presentation celebrates 30 years of the Americans with Disabilities Act. We will discuss where we have been, where we are now, and where we are headed (including trends) as an institution and nationally in connection with disability and employment.
Goals and Target Audience:
The goals of this presentation are to provide information on the history of the ADA from just before its passage to the present, changes that have been made to the law overtime as society as changed, how the ADA is reflected within CSU, and trends or where areas of focus for the ADA are anticipated to be in the coming years. The target audience is any student, faculty, or staff member interested in understanding more about the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Description:
There has been a lot of legislative activity of late both at the federal and state levels that the University must implement. Examples are the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Colorado Race Trait Hairstyle Anti-discrimination Protection, Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair Act (CROWN Act), and others. What does this mean for supervisors, employees and CSU? Do these new requirements further equity in employment? The Office of Equal Opportunity and Human Resources will share the new requirements brought about by the new regulations, provide insightful guidance, and examine their impact on equity.
