This is the one of four workshops that cover the student employee hiring basics, as part of the four core courses in the ELEVATE: Student Supervision Focus Certificate
Goals and Target Audience:
• Participants will be able to identify at least three different advertising avenues to post open student positions to attract a more diverse and robust applicant pool.
• Participants will be able to construct a job description that promotes equal opportunities for employment to all students.
• Participants will be able to develop a system to assess and interview candidates that accounts for unconscious bias and works to minimize coded language.
