Restorative Yoga Practice for Stress Management

Focus on self care by treating yourself to a little yoga. You will be guided through a restorative yoga class which will focus on stress reduction. All levels are welcome to attend. Please have a yoga mat, two yoga blankets (or bath towels) available and wear comfortable clothes that facilitate movement. Toni-Lee Viney serves as the Manager for Undergraduate Programs in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and has been a part of CSU since 2006. She has taught yoga for nine years and is pursuing additional training on yoga therapeutics. Toni-Lee recently launched a new yoga business called Best Day Ever Yoga where she supports clients with meeting their yoga goals, managing pain, and addressing women’s health issues.
Goals and Target Audience:
This session will offer attendees an opportunity to take a break and focus on self-care. This session is intended to target anyone who has an interest in a gentle movement-based, stress management practice. This class is appropriate for all levels, whether this is your first time doing a yoga class or you're a seasoned practitioner. Modifications will be offered to support people with diverse range of motion abilities.
