Description:
Student Supervisors have the large task of helping develop student staff while also making sure the work is completed. Using CSU’s core competencies, supervisors will learn how to both recruit individuals with certain skill sets as well as understanding a theoretical framework for assisting their student staff to grow. The core competencies used by a large variety of employers will be shared, as well as techniques to encourage student’s development in these areas. This is one of the four core courses in the ELEVATE: Student Supervision Focus Certificate.
