The Magic Circle of Classroom Games... Online!

Literature suggests that classroom games are effective active learning tools, but how do you best use them in online classes? In this session, James "Pigeon" Fielder will briefly discuss why games work, followed by tips and techniques for running classroom games in hybrid and fully-online courses.
Goals and Target Audience:
Goal 1: to inform the audience how and why classroom games are effective in reinforcing learning.
Goal 2: to provide immediately useful methods for running online classroom games, exercises, and simulations.
Target audience: educators who want to learn more about classroom games in general, and who want to learn how to successfully apply them in online courses.
