Online Training Seminar for First-Time GTAs: Spring Semester 2018

The Purpose of GTA Training:

To equip all incoming GTAs with basic institutional knowledge about Colorado State University.

This will include the wide variety of University resources any GTA will need and or find helpful in the fulfillment of his or her duties and responsibilities, likewise the personal and professional expectations to which the University will hold them.

Incoming GTAs will also be introduced to universal learning and teaching issues, current pedagogical Best Practices, as well as strategies both for promoting academic integrity and assessing student performances/outcomes.

NOTE: On January 2, 2018, you will receive an email from the Canvas Learning Mangement System with login information and other essential details regarding the Spring Online GTA Training in which you are enrolled.


ALSO: Required All-University Training Deadline:
Tuesday | January 16, 2018

The University requires all faculty, staff complete the following two training sessions.

  • Sexual Harrassment
  • Tell Some One

After registering for your GTA Training, you will receive an email with links to these two training modules.

Please Note: These modules must be completed and submitted before the first day of classes (Tuesday, January 16, 2018).
