Professional Development Institute
The 43rd PDI was an opportunity to connect with each other, learn together, explore new ideas, network, and celebrate our CSU community.
PDI offers CSU faculty, state classified personnel, administrative professionals, and graduate students an opportunity to explore a wide range of topics designed to enhance their professional growth and personal enrichment as we try to address the whole person and bring balance between work related skills and personal advancement. The purpose of PDI is to provide an opportunity to share ideas, explore issues, and gain insights into learning, teaching, and service, as well as other professional and personal activities.

Call for Proposals
PDI happens each year in January in the week prior to the start of spring semester. The call for proposals generally opens sometime in October with a due date near the first week of November. Once proposals are accepted and scheduled, registration will begin in early December.
The theme for the 2022 PDI was simple “Explore the Future”. Presenters and participants shared ideas on topics, such as inclusive pedagogy, equitable review processes, and creating inclusive work environments, and gain new insights from one another.
