Biography: I am in my fourth year at Colorado State University, I have been involved with undergraduate research for the entirety of my undergraduate degree. I am passionate about business as a positive force in the world. I am presently involved in research regarding the U.S.-China Trade War and international student experiences at Colorado State University.
Research Experience: Presentation, data collection, qualitative data collection and analysis, and Python.
Campus involvement: OURA Student Ambassador, Business for a Better World Undergraduate Researcher, Office of Scholarship and Fellowship Advising Undergraduate Researcher, Global Business Network Officer, Multicultural Undergraduate Research Art and Leadership Symposium (MURALS) Presenter
Post-graduation plans: Attend grad school to obtain a master’s in foreign service and join the U.S. Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer.
Favorite part of research: I enjoy how impactful research can be within Colorado State University and beyond. Research has helped me get internships, make valuable connections and improve the overall on-campus community.
Advice for students interested in getting involved in research: My advice for anyone looking to get involved in research is to reach out to faculty and students. When you make your interests known you open yourself up to more opportunities. I highly recommend anyone interested in research get involved, it never hurts to try something new.
