Courses and Offerings

Conferences and Workshops: TILT offers Fall Ramp Up and the Summer Conference annually while conducting a variety of workshops on an ongoing basis.

Community of Practice: Explore types of assessments, more equitable grading practices, student-generated rubrics, mastery grading, standards-based grading, and more.

Best Practices in Teaching: 3-week asynchronous Canvas courses on research-based instructional approaches. Participate in a cohort.

Teaching Squares: Semester long, peer observation program. Observe others a few times during a semester, using an agreed upon set of observation norms.

Master Teaching Initiative Faculty leaders in each of the Colleges, the Library, and the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs develop MTI programs each semester for their colleagues.
