Supporting Teaching Success

The TILT-created Teaching Effectiveness Framework (TEF) organizes evidence-based teaching practices into seven interconnected domains of teaching so that instructors can focus their professional development efforts on one domain at a time. The TEF provides a common language for everyone at the university to use when discussing teaching. The TEF Toolkit includes supporting documents for goal setting, self-reflection on teaching, annual review of teaching, and collecting evidence of teaching success.
