Instructions for Instructors

  1. Make LockDown Browser available in the left-hand menu of your Canvas course by going to Settings – Navigation tab.
  2. Create Ungraded Canvas Sample Quiz with 1–2 questions for students to test the LockDown Browser/Monitor.
  3. Associate LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor with Canvas quiz/exam. (Including your sample 1–2 question quiz).
  4. View student proctored results in Faculty Guides and Documentation
  5. Respondus Support + Resources
  6. Contact the Student Disability Center for accommodation questions
  7. Training Webinars
  8. NOTE: Respondus does not work with assistive technology. Faculty should use an alternative assessment or contact the Student Disability Center for alternative testing accommodations.
