Presenter Name and Title: TILT Team; Alyson Huff, Noah Racey, Jess Rushing

Workshop Description: Join TILT and several CSU faculty in this hands-on workshop that will walk you through a process to add alternative-grading practices to your course ““ at any level that is comfortable for you. Informed by Clark and Talbert’s Grading for Growth, you will be given time to explore the four pillars of alternative grading: clearly defined standards, helpful feedback, marks indicating progress, and reassessment without penalty, so that you can decide which and how much alternative grading is right for your course. If you’re new to alternative grading, you will receive guidance throughout the workshop. If you have experience with alternative grading or have already been exploring ideas for your course, you will be able to work at your own pace by yourself or with a small group.
