Language of the TEF
Elevate the conversation about teaching in your unit
Since its inception in 2018, the TEF has reached wide audiences. Jen Todd and Tonya Buchan have presented the TEF at several conferences, including pre-conference workshops for leaders in higher education. They have also consulted with 16 institutions about the TEF, its creation, and its use as a tool for developing and evaluating teaching. Use of the TEF on CSU campus continues to grow with over 25 departments reporting faculty use of the TEF and 89% of faculty surveyed finding the TEF “very usefeul” or “useful”. In 2023, the Accelerating Systemic Change Network peer reviewed the TEF with a high score.
