Civil engineering graduate earns Mentored Research and Artistry Distinction

CSU civil engineering graduate Joshua Kates earned the prestigious Mentored Research and Artistry Distinction (MRAD) upon graduation this spring. This honor recognizes his exceptional research, creativity, and leadership, including presenting research in Italy, winning entrepreneurial awards for his FlocBot project, and earning a Goldwater Scholarship. Kates hopes to inspire more engineering students to pursue MRAD and leverage their time at CSU for transformative experiences.
