This is Part 1: Sign Up. You must take the survey in the “Notes” section after you click “Resister” for this event.

Gather some colleagues and choose a book from our curated collection. TILT book kits include: 4 copies of the book, guiding questions, optional activities, a recommended meeting schedule, and suggestions for leading the group – everything you need to run a successful book club. Each book is aligned with the domains of the Teaching Effectiveness Framework (TEF) to support your teaching goal and earn credit for the Teaching Effectiveness Initiative (TEI) program for participating in or leading a book club.

TILT will contact you with your group members’ contact information, how to pick up a copy of the book, and further instructions.

Sign up to choose one of the following books:
-Distracted: Why Students Can’t Focus and What You Can Do About it by James M. Lang
-The Expert Teacher: Using Pedagogical Content Knowledge to Plan Superb Lessons by Darren Mead
-How Learning Works by Susan Ambrose, et al.
-Inclusive Teaching Strategies for Promoting Equity in the College Classroom by Kelly Hogan and Viji Sathay
-Small Teaching by James Lang
-Universal Design for Learning: Principles, Framework, and Practice by CAST
