The Learning Assistant (LA) Program at Colorado State University is based on the evidence-informed, internationally recognized LA model of peer-to-peer academic support. Research strongly indicates that implementing the LA model with fidelity positively impacts all students.

Our program data shows that LA-supported sections of courses have higher student success rates.  Given this positive impact on students’ success, the LA Program at CSU has grown substantially since it started in Fall 2018.  Starting in one section of one course, the LA Program now supports many or all sections of several courses, across multiple departments and academic colleges.
