Community of Practice: Community Engaged Learning

Many CSU faculty and instructors are running or developing rich and impactful CEL / SL projects but don’t know others on campus doing similar work. We know our capacities and skills improve when we collaborate, connect, and practice with others. Join us to see what becomes possible when we pool our knowledge and resources. This CoP is for anyone running or developing CEL/SL projects that include academic credit or scholarly components. Fall 2024 meetings include discussions of the 2023 book, Preparing Students to Engage in Equitable Community Partnerships and additional opportunities to learn from CSU professors and discuss best practices. There are many different approaches and definitions of Community Engaged Learning. Please see “about community engaged learning” to get a sense of the framework we will be using.
