From Classroom Curiosity to Scholarly Inquiry: Introduction to SoTL

Turn your “I wonder why…” moments into meaningful research. This session introduces the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) and demonstrates how educators can investigate their own teaching challenges using scholarly methods. We’ll discuss the key principles of SoTL and review examples of successful projects. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of SoTL and initial ideas for how their classroom insights might become future inquiry projects.
