Join us to hear about common-sense strategies that will help you navigate the unplanned challenges likely to occur, encourage academic integrity, and promote learning in your course. We will discuss syllabus statements, communicating expectations, and identifying acceptable uses versus detecting and managing unauthorized uses of AI.
Participants will leave with a syllabus statement they can adapt, a framework for deciding between acceptable and unacceptable AI uses, knowledge of university-approved proctoring tools, a realistic understanding of what AI detection tools can and cannot do, and clear next steps if an academic misconduct incident arises.
