This session explores key insights from teaching a marketing course with full AI integration – from curriculum design, to TA and capstone project chatbots, and, of course, required student AI use. At the heart of the course is Design Thinking, which served as the foundational framework – a human-centered approach to solving unmet needs and driving innovation. To “walk the talk,” I applied this mindset throughout the Product Design (MKT364) class. While not everything worked perfectly, the goal was to mirror real-world AI adoption and show how empathy-driven research, rapid learning, and curious experimentation can lead to better outcomes. Ultimately, the experience demonstrated to students that embracing AI thoughtfully isn’t just a trend – it’s a way to innovate responsibly and improve results.
