1.) Choose 1-2 TEF Domains to develop as you progress through the TEI Program

  • You may start with any TEF domain but if you don’t know where to start, TILT recommends that you begin with Inclusive Pedagogy.

2.) Select TILT trainings or other professional development (PD) experiences related to TEF domains of interest

3.) Sign up for the trainings


4.) Complete the training(s)

  • Schedule time in your calendar each week to stay on track with the training(s) 

5.) Apply what you learned in PD and implement the changes in your teaching 

  • Keep track of the changes and their impact on students 

6.) Get feedback from students and/or colleagues specific to the targeted TEF domains


7.) Complete and submit the TEI Post-Implementation Reflection Form 


8.) Review TILT’s feedback to your reflection forms in Bridge/MyLearning

  • Recommendation: download or print a pdf of the returned reflection with TILT’s feedback 

9.) View your domain progress on the TEI Progress Dashboard 


10.) Use TEI reflections, domain certificates, and letters of commendation for annual review of teaching
