Heather Moon is the Student Success Librarian at Colorado State University’s Morgan Library, where she delivers dynamic instruction for introductory courses and designs interactive programming, with a focus on supporting historically minoritized student populations. Prior to joining CSU, Heather served as a certified Teacher Librarian and Learning Coach in Northern Colorado, where she spent six years teaching at the middle school level. She is a passionate advocate for libraries and literacy, committed to forging partnerships across campus to enhance student success. Heather holds a B.A. from Illinois State University and an M.A. from the University of Colorado Denver. Before discovering her passion for libraries and innovative instruction, she worked as a writer and editor for K-12 textbooks at a publishing company. In her free time, Heather enjoys reading, running, swimming, and keeping up with her energetic kids.
